The Blondie Mix from Macphie is simple to make and only requires a little water and vegetable oil! It brings a chewy and delicious sweet treat with hints of caramel once baked.

Add your inclusions like chocolate chips, raspberry pieces or nuts, this will add an interesting flavour yet delicious finish to your Blondies. We recommend 10% of inclusions for the perfect amount.

This mix is suitable for vegetarians too which allows you to expand your menu for more people.

How to make (per 1000g mix, 190ml water and 190ml vegetable oil):

  1. In a machine bowl fitted with a paddle, add 190g of vegetable oil and 190g of water to 1kg of Blondie Mix
  2. Beat for 1 minute on slow.
  3. Beat for 3 minutes on medium.

Baking suggestions:

  • Baking temperature 175°C/350°F
  • 7x12 trays – deposit 1kg and bake for 40 minutes.
  • 18inch x 30inch sheets – deposit between 4-5kg and bake for 50-55 minutes.
