Drink Me Chai Artisan Blend

We all know and love Drink Me Chai. Having a mug of Spiced Chai latte on a cold winter’s evening when you’re wrapped up warm in front of the fire is absolute bliss.

The new Artisan Blend is a premium instant blend of natural aromatic spices fused with sweetened black tea creating a delicious chai latte experience. Each pack provides approximately 50 servings and features a re-sealable seam on the top of the bag to ensure the product keeps fresh between uses.

What makes it different?

OK, for a start, the packaging is a massive shift away from the existing packs used in the Drink Me Chai wholesale range. A new re-sealable foil bag replaces the cardboard tins with plastic lids. The top of the bag has easy-open notches which make the bag very easy to rip open. The re-sealable strip across the top which allows you to quickly reseal the packets closed to keep the chai mix fresh between uses.

The Artisan Blend contains 25% less sugar than Drink Me Chai original spiced chai. It is 99% caffeine-free, dairy-free and gluten-free and completely free from artificial colours and preservatives. It is suitable for both vegans and for vegetarians. The Vegetarian Society have approved the product and their logo appears on the individual packaging.

Artisan Blend Ingredients:

Sugar, Maltodextrin, Potato Starch, Caramelised Sugar, Dried Glucose Syrup, Black Tea Extract (2%), Natural Flavourings, Thickener: Cellulose Gum; Spices, Cinnamon (0.6%).

Recipe Ideas

Need a little inspiration for using Drink Me Chai Artisan Blend? Try these ideas. You can substitute milk for almond, coconut or soy milk for a lactose-free option.

Chai Latte Recipe (Hot drink)

• Add 1 heaped scoop of powder into a steaming jug.
• Add 200ml of milk and steam.
• Service in a 12oz cup
• Dust with cinnamon.

Iced Chai Latte (Cold drink)

• Start with 330ml of milk into a blender
• Mix in 2 level scoops of chai powder
• Add a handful of ice
• Blend
• Serve in a tall glass

Hint: Try sprinkling chai powder over your cakes or over your morning porridge for a little extra wow.
