Mother’s Day Champagne Recipe
Mothering Sunday is rapidly approaching.
It is a day to spoil your mum for a change. Let’s face it, she deserves to be spoiled for a change.
It’s a great idea to make her lunch with a selection of delicious sandwiches and cakes and of course a pot of lovely tea. We love to make homemade scones with clotted cream and homemade strawberry jam for mother’s day lunch. Delicious.
Once lunch is out the way, propose a toast with this quick and easy champagne recipe idea:
INGREDIENTS:
- 10ml Rose syrup
- 100ml Champagne
METHOD:
- Add the syrup to the glass
- Top up with cold champagne
How about breakfast first?
Score some extra brownie points on mother’s day by making your mum breakfast in bed. Croissants always go down well in our house with lashings of bacon and poached or fried eggs. Serve with a lovely latte or cappuccino of course.
